My first job was working at the Irvington public library with Peggy Diebold, Emma’s mom. It was a full-circle moment when Peggy asked for my information and then to photograph her daughter’s wedding. I knew that Matt and Emma had chemistry the moment I met them to start preparing for the Big Day.
Getting Ready
Emma and the Bridal Party got ready at her parent’s house in Irvington. Matt prepared at their house, complete with retro basement bar.

The Ceremony
The ceremony and reception were both held at The Neidhammer. The light and ambience were great, only made better by the brick walls old wooden floors. So much so that in 2019 my husband and I would choose The Neidhammer for our own wedding!

The Reception
Emma and Matt had such close friends at the wedding and they had nothing but heartfelt things to say before having fun on the dance floor! At one point before the reception got into full swing, Matt and Emma stepped away for a quiet moment alone. The two of them alone together is one of my favorite couple moments captured to date!
